For venues

One copy of OSVenue belongs to one venue. A venue with several rooms, fields or halls lists each one as a space. The install steps are in the repository's README.

What staff can do

TaskHow
Booking requestsSee requests waiting, approved, declined and cancelled. Approve, decline or cancel with a note the requester never sees. Approving one that would overlap an approved booking in the same space is refused, and the page says what it clashes with.
HoldsHold a space for maintenance, setup or a private use. A hold blocks bookings like an approved request.
EventsPublish events with date, time, space, organizer, price and ticket link; mark one cancelled and it stays listed, marked, everywhere it went.
The venueName, address, contact, booking terms, whether booking is open, and the accessibility details.
SpacesName, capacity, step-free access, access notes, whether it can be booked; retire a space instead of deleting it.
Sign-inAn emailed link, or a passkey added on the account page: a fingerprint, face or PIN on the person's own device. No passwords.

What people who book see

A form asking for the space, date, start and end time, what it's for, expected attendance and how to reach them. Attendance over the space's capacity, a date in the past or a booking longer than a day is explained on the form. They get a reference, and the status page for it shows only the title, space, time and decision.
